Andrea (MScPT) moved to Vancouver last year to be closer to family and begin working with Vancouver Coastal Health as a physiotherapist with an interest in chronic pain and neurological conditions. They have been teaching yoga and mindful movement since 2011 and have taught at Modo studios across Canada and the US, most recently in Nanaimo, BC.

Andrea firmly believes that yoga and mindful movement are for everyone and all bodies, and seeks to create a safe, judgement-free space where people can explore themselves and take what they need from their practice.  They have personally experienced yoga as a tool for managing pain, anxiety, trauma, and feeling more connected with their body and they are passionate about sharing this with others. You can expect Andrea’s classes to focus on sustainable, strong and functional movement blended with mindfulness and an approach that prioritizes calming the nervous system, with lots of opportunities and support to adapt the practice to fit your individual body and needs.
